The Quote of the Week
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the power to turn a life around. – Leo Buscaglia

We never know what effect just a smile can have. I became aware of that one day when one of my students said, “You know, Mrs. Brown, when you smile at me passing in the hallway, it makes me feel happy.” A kind gesture, even waiting for a driver to make a turn in front of you, and a friendly wave makes you feel better.
