“Listen, my son, to your father’s instruction and do not forsake your mother’s teaching. They will be a garland to grace your head and a chain to adorn your neck”. ~ Proverbs 1:8-9
Mothers are awesome. They teach our children how to work hard, study in school, behave themselves, persevere in times of trial, how to deal with other, and on and on and on. There simply isn’t enough time and space to share with you all of the wonderful things that mothers do and how much impact they can have in their family. There is also no way that we can ever thank out mothers enough for the time and effort that they sacrificed for us on a daily basis so that we could become the people that we are today.
Most importantly, a good, caring Christian mother will bring up their children in the ways of the Lord. They will teach them the fundamentals and foundations of God’s love, promises and truths. Proverbs 22:6 says “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
