I am a 61 year old, father of two boys and have been happily married for 33 years. I have been a Physical Education teacher and coach for 38 years and have loved EVERY minute of it. I enjoy making people laugh and feel good about themselves. It’s fun collecting inspiring and heartwarming stories.from people. So, if you have a good story…let me know! I am a 62 year old Physical Education teacher and coach. I have been teaching and coaching three sports a year for 39 years….and have loved EVERY second of it! I am married to a fabulous wife and she has been the best mother in the world to my two sons.

I REALLY enjoy collecting and writing inspiring and heartwarming stories to share with other people/ There is nothing better in the world than to do things for other people and making them smile and feel good about themselves.

Normally we are never surprised to find writers behind so many different types of people & trades. We have made friends with networking buds from all over the world. All in love with writing & books. We have a fireman/writer, several doctors/writers, chef/writers, musicians/writers, lawyers/writers, policeman/writer, soldier/writer, roofer/writer, architect/writer, painter/writer…and now, coach/writer! That is a first!! And what an interesting combination we would have never dreamed went together! Just goes to show you writing will find it’s way anywhere & to anyone who has a story to tell. We think you are very unique & clearly you are in the right field as your work is wonderful!

    four months to write. over a year to completely edit. Then tucked it away for a few years. Pulled it out again, restructured every sentence in the book then self published through Createspace at Amazon at no cost.

    I started writing a book but haven’t gotten anywhere in the past 8-9 months or so….I am just very busy teaching and coaching all the time. I really want to pick up where I left off and continue on with my quest 🙂

    Courage times three is a unique read. There is so much history and tragedy- it is written almost as a memoir. You hear stories and you see shows on television about Nazi’s but nothing prepares you for the full horror of what it was like. Brenda Brown Elliott does it beautifully with heart and soul- and not relying on gimmicky clichés.
    The authors voice is so true you could believe that she experienced these events first hand.
    
    Lilly, Madeleine and Lorraine are paragons of faith. No matter what life threw at them, they handled it with faith. Battling two world wars and emigrating to America- these women never lost hope.
    
    There is so much more in this book, like Lilly and Valentin’s tender love story that defies all the odds. You just have to read it to believe it. Some label this book as Christian fiction, but I don’t agree. This is a book about love hope and faith and it is for everyone; it shouldn’t be pigeon holed into one genre.
    
    Overcoming is a big theme in the novel and how families cope with adversity and triumph.
    
    For me, on a personal note: This book is an allegory. An allegory on how to succeed at life by having faith. Brenda Brown Elliott and her strong role model characters showed me what every woman should aspire to- true grace.

This isn’t my first blog, though I learned a lot from first one, what to do and what not to do (especially allow your attached web-site to be hacked! 😉 ) But When the Holy Spirit touched my heart to do this again, I felt He told me He would lead me in the way it should be and sure enough, I find inspiration and encouragement in a site like yours. We are all part of ONE Body, made up of different and varying parts and gifts and we need each other to be complete in the Lord Jesus! So, I have to follow you and I am looking forward to making time to read some more! It’s a good thing I love to read and I am an avid reader!!
