I gotta wonder- do the non-alcoholics ever wonder what it is like to be the alcoholic, thinking about blowing their brains out all the time? I know that cancer victims don’t seem to get the put downs that alcoholics do. Is there some lack of communication here?

My father died of alcoholism. This will never happen to me or my children. I would never let it.
