Mine varies a lot but I believe it is because I am so new at blogging and it is a fluke when someone finds me. 🙂 Not sure what would be the reason on other blogs that are well established for instance. Seasonal maybe? vacations/holidays slow down the time we spend on the blogs? that is just pure guesswork on my part as a newcomer. Will be interested in what others’ ideas and comments are.

You are welcome and thank you for the encouragement! I’m learning a lot as I follow others’ blogs and I am hoping with the Lord’s help to be able to become a better writer and to write more often. Have a great day yourself my friend! 🙂

WordPress has change that, you can now see how many visitors and how many pages they viewed.
So 5 visitors and 20 clicks.
But over all my viewing has gone from like 300 views to like 50.

First explanation: It’s summertime, the weather is hot – people are on holidays/vacation – don’t worry.
Second: When you post a photo and you appear on my reader with that photo I just like that from my reader – and don’t bother to come around to your blog since there is no further input. Maybe other people do the same.
Third: Not every story is of significance to every of your previous readers.
I like good time stories or I would not follow your blog. But I am not very religious. So I prefer good time stories that have not too much of religion inside. I don’t mind a little bit of religion, but I cannot celebrate it if every “second” word is Jesus or God or Heavenly … I prefer a quiter, more personal and subtle approach to religion. When I have the suspicion your story might drift along the “pietcong”-route, I don’t visit your blog for that story. My choice.
I am not sportive. I belong to the majority of germans who are avoiding sports. Sport stories have to bear a strong message to get me interested. So, Churchill, who turned over 90, is an idol.
Those reasons just explain why I do not come around daily, no criticism! Do not get me wrong, I do not want to influence what you write.
YOU decide what you write, I decide what I read. We are both happy!

Thank you so very much for sharing with me your thoughts and ideas…I totally understand and respect them. I try to keep my stories / pictures diverse. I like to find a variety of things / stories to post and share. I am, without question, a Christian who loves the Lord, but I don’t flaunt it or am not a fanatic about it…I think THAT’S a turn-off to a lot of people.
Also, you ‘re a German? So am I! I understand the German idea about sports.
Lastly, your second point that you listed is a very good one. I never thought of it that way…Thanks!!
Have a great day and thanks again!

I wouldnt say i’ve noticed any dramatic change, other than people are simply liking a lot more, rather than commenting. But then, my posts have become more ‘closed’ where comments arent actually necessary. 🙂
Dont stress about it I’d say.

Everything tends to slow down in the summer; my blog views do and my book sales at Amazon.com all slow up during summer as people are out and about. Come September things will pick up again.

The time I spend on my own blog has dropped off so much that I hadn’t even noticed the stats bar for weeks… it’s been up and down, a distinct difference from the steady pace it maintains during the non-summer months. It’s interesting that so many people have shared stories indicating their own withdrawal from blogging. 🙂

I have been visiting every couple days the past couple weeks or so, not my usual every day, things have just been kinda crazy. I wouldn’t give it a second thought though, your blog rocks and I have noticed lots of people are or on, or have been on vacations etc. 🙂
